Take notes. There’s a reason they use the language they do when talking about a black person being shot versus a white person.It is worded to evoke certain imagery in our minds. Why do you think these headlines say “black man shot by police after struggle” versus “unarmed teenager shot multiple times by officers”. Notice the choice of language. What do you think of when you hear a black man struggled with police before he was shot? You assume he was being aggressive and initiated the conflict. But that is far from what happened with Michael Brown. He was walking down the street with his friend, another unarmed teenager. Think about this. Think about what you read/hear from the media before you think you know the story.
